Ashley Speaks Out About Divorce Rumors with Manuel

90 Day Fiancé cast member Ashley Michelle recently felt compelled to give a relationship update about her and her Ecuadorian husband, Manuel, after rumors of their divorce started spreading on a certain Facebook page.

Ashley and Manuel indeed had a rocky beginning as a couple. They weren't ready to live together under one roof in the U.S. and get married, but they had to rush things because Manuel came on a K-1 visa. They had to get married before the 90 days ended, or Manuel would have had to fly back home, and Ashley would have had to pay again for his visa process and wait a couple more years, which could have ended their relationship.

Ashley and Manuel often fought about money and trust issues. Manuel was not considerate when talking to Ashley about sending money each month to his family back home in Ecuador, even though Ashley paid for his K-1 visa and took care of him for months while he waited for his adjustment of status and work permit.

Manuel also acted shady, taking money from Ashley and hiding it secretly from her. Additionally, he always avoided letting his American wife speak to his kids or family as if he was hiding something. Despite their toxic relationship, they managed to stay together because they genuinely love each other. Recently, Ashley posted an Instagram story to confirm that she and Manuel are still together and denied the divorce rumors spreading about them on social media. The couple even faked crying and made fun of the rumors, calling people who spread lies like this crazy.

The truth is, in the last couple of years, many grifters have joined the 90 Day Fiancé franchise in the content creation space. These people, who have never watched the show or know the backstories of the cast members and couples, just post social media statuses and videos talking about the show and its cast members to get views and clicks, which later convert into money thanks to social media programs paying content creators who agree to show ads on their pages.

These grifters are the worst; they steal posts and articles from others and post them as their own without giving credit. My blog and other news sites like "Screen Rant" and "Monsters and Critics" suffer from this problem, and there is nothing we can do about it because if you take down one of those scammers' pages by filing a DMCA, they just start another page. When these grifters are not stealing posts and articles, they usually spread lies like a cast member's death or divorce, which is what happened in the case of Ashley and Manuel.
