 Former Before The 90 Days cast member Riley Diego isn't even in the top 10 list of 90 Day Fiancé villains of all time. He did nothing controversial or wrong during his time on the show, yet he's still suffering the consequences of appearing on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise due to how he was portrayed.


Riley Diego and Violet Tuyet's journey on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days was marked by trust issues and communication problems. The 49-year-old vet from Pennsylvania met Violet, a 43-year-old teacher from Ho Chi Minh City, on a Vietnamese dating app. Despite their initial connection, their relationship faced numerous challenges, including doubts about Violet's pregnancy and suspicions of infidelity. The couple's storyline was filled with drama, and they split before their season's Tell-All episodes.

In his recent Instagram story, Riley Diego claimed that it's absolutely wild that he's struggling to pay his mortgage and risks losing his home because he filmed for Before The 90 Days two years ago. Riley stated that his character and good name in real life were thrown under the bus because of how he was portrayed on a scripted reality TV show. He also lost his job after his season aired, where he was making around $140k yearly. Now, he had to sell his bike and boat to be able to pay three months of his high mortgage.



In the comments section of an Instagram post that reshared his stories, Riley explained that money is tight right now, and he still can't believe how a stupid show could ruin his life like this. When a fan asked him to go and work at McDonald's because they are always hiring, Riley respectfully replied that a full-time McDonald's worker's salary wouldn't be enough to pay his mortgage, let alone his other expenses.

Riley took responsibility for voluntarily applying for the reality TV show but wanted to rant and put his story out there as a cautionary tale for those who want to be on the 90-Day Fiancé franchise. His Vietnamese ex, Violet, is probably going through the same thing, but since she's not so active on social media, we'll never know what happened to her after her season ended.
